For basic modem configuration click here We can also configure modem to allow internet access to particular MAC ID based on time schedule e.g. we want Mobiles / computer of children to disconnect from imternet at 11:00PM and Rec0nnect at 06:00 AM so that they can sleep undisturbed. At first we need to check the date and time of Modem. In Network > Wireless Schdule we can check curent date and time of the modem. Here we can also make schedule for turning off and on for wifi. If configured all users will be diconnected during this schedule. If the date / time is not correct, go to Application > NTP and Enable NTP service Select Primary server as time.nist.gov, Time Zone +5:30 and save. The time will be corrected automatically. Now for time based MAC filtering go to Security > Parental Control and Enable Access control. Add new policy, give it a name, In example we have selected Unknown. Airtel has launched fiber based broadband called Airtel Xtream Fiber . AIrtel has provided android based Xtream Fiber app though which Wifi network SSID name and security password can be changed. More advanced settings can be changed through web based interface through Laptop / mobile through this procedure (The procedure is prepared using Nokia  G-140W-F  Modem, there may be minor changes if make or model is different). Nokia Modem has two Wifi networks 2.4GHz and 5GHz. Both are by default on and network SSID is same (5GHz has _5G suffix, like if 2.4GHz SSID is Net, 5GHz SSID will be Net_5G) Enter modem address in web browser, default is 192.168.1.1 Default username is admin Default password is admin It is strongly recommended to change the password from Maintenance > Password.
